Financial Engineer
MWSA is currently looking for Financial Engineers in New York, London, and San Francisco.
As part of our analytic team you’ll work closely with our customers in the implementation of our suite of fixed income products. You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of financial institutions and help us develop and put in place solutions for them using our top of the line analytic software.
This position involves analyzing complex financial fixed-income instruments and working on a consulting basis with our clients. Some travel is required. We are looking for very fast learners with the confidence to interact with top Wall Street professionals. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be capable of working and learning independently.

Implementation Engineer
MWSA's New York office is looking for an Implementation Engineer.
You will join MWSA's product delivery and support team and will support product implementations for new customers.The Implementation Engineer is responsible for:
- Taking in customer business requirements
- Ensuring deliveries are generated in a timely and consistent manner from these requirements
- Gaining an understanding of customer's IT environment
- Working with client IT staff on delivery, implementation, and set of systems
- Ensuring successful integration of MWSA products with client systems
- Planning and performance of client trainings
- Transitioning the client to the support analyst team
The Implementation Engineer needs to be able to work with a large variety of clients and to understand their business and technical needs and deliver to our expectations.
- Required is a working knowledge of database implementations on MS SQL
- Familiarity with database integration products, such as Pervasive Integration Manager, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Visual Basic is a strong plus
- Strong written and communication skills and the ability to manage simultaneous projects and deadlines are essential
- A working knowledge of the structured finance industry is strongly desirable, with the expectation that you will become knowledgeable about our client needs and how they can be addressed through MWSA's products and services
QA Engineer
MWSA's San Francisco office is currently looking for QA Engineers as part of its Product Development team, which focuses on the business and quality assurance aspects of product development. QA Engineers work closely with MWSA’s software developers and business analysts to deliver structured finance software of the highest quality to our clients. The Product Development team works on all of MWSA’s desktop and web-based applications including CDOnet, SFW/BAW, CDOcalc, ABScalc.
Responsibilities for this position include functional testing, user interface testing, regression testing, web-based testing, test design, and test automation. You will also have the opportunity to improve our QA procedures and methodology.
- Strong technical & quantitative skills (programming experience helpful but not required)
- At least 4 years of hands on software testing experience
- Previous experience with financial desktop (not web) applications
- BS in engineering, science, math, operations research, or related field (other majors are welcome to apply)
- Must be detail-oriented, methodical, meticulous, responsible, organized, hard-working
- Must be good at problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Familiarity with VB Script is a plus
- Familiarity with automated testing software is a plus
Business Analyst
MWSA's San Francisco office is currently looking for Business Analysts as part of its Product Development team, which focuses on the business and quality assurance aspects of product development. The Product Development team works on all of MWSA’s desktop and web-based applications including CDOnet, SFW/BAW, CDOcalc, ABScalc.
As a whole, this team is responsible for product design, testing, build control, release notes, and improving the overall Product Development and Quality Assurance process. This position may require some or all of these responsibilities. In addition, this position may be partially staffed on specific projects, which have more varied responsibilities.
- Strong technical skills (programming experience helpful but not required)
- BS in engineering, science, math, operations research, or related field (other majors are welcome to apply)
- GPA 3.5+
- Very good communication skills

Documentation Specialist
MWSA's San Francisco office is currently looking for a Documentation Specialist to be part of its Product Development team, which focuses on the business and quality assurance aspects of product development. The Product Development team works on all of MWSA’s desktop and web-based applications including CDOnet, SFW/BAW, CDOcalc, ABScalc.
Responsibilities for this position include writing and managing hardcopy and online user documentation for client support, and internal processes and procedures, primarily for our desktop and online applications.
- Become intimately familiar with the functionality in all of MWSA’s applications
- Manage, create, and update online wiki user manuals for all applications
- Manage, create, and update hardcopy user manuals for all applications, keeping consistent with the online wiki documentation
- Manage, create, and update product release notes for all applications
- Organize Product Development communications
- Create documentation, diagrams, and forms for Product Development/QA procedures and other internal processes
