Wall Street Analytics Releases New Automation Tools

Wall Street Analytics, Inc. (WSA), a developer of sophisticated structured finance software, has launched a powerful API and macro language as a part of its CDOnet and Structured Finance Workstation (SFW) software products.

As WSA's customers have increased the scope and complexity of the analysis and reporting they require from their analytic tools, so has their need to create and automate their own processes within and around WSA's software products. The data, analytics, and reporting present in WSA's applications can now be called and manipulated via external programming languages such as C++, Visual Basic and VBA, allowing easy integration into existing applications and systems.

These new features give WSA's customers the ability to quickly write and run macros to automate common, periodic or iterative routines, including collateral analysis, tranche cashflow generation, reporting, and data import / export.

Burke Malek, Fund Accountant at CypressTree Investment Management explained "Working with WSA, we used the macro language within CDOnet to create the customized Portfolio Management Reports we needed to monitor and analyze each of the deals that we manage - individually and jointly. We now run these reports across our entire portfolio of deals on a daily basis with one simple mouse-click."
